COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains:
Amoxicillin ... 200mg.
Solvents ad........... 1ml.
DESCRIPTION:
Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic broadspectrum penicillin with a bactericidal action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The range of effect includes Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli,
Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, penicillinase negative Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp.
The bactericidal action is due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Amoxicillin is mainly excreted in urine.
A major part can also be excreted in bile.
INDICATIONS:
Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by amoxicillin sensitive micro-organisms, like Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus,
Pasteurella, Salmonella, penicillinase negative Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp., in calves, cattle,
goats, sheep and swine.
CONTRA INDICATIONS:
As with all penicillins , amoxicillin may cause hypersensitivity(allergy) and shouldn’t be used when an animal is
known to be allergic to beta-lactams.
Administration to animals with a serious impaired renal function.
Concurrent administration with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Occasional local reaction of a transient nature may occur at the site of injection .
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION :
Shake well before use
Intramuscular and subcutaneous injection .
Calculated as amoxicillin , cattle, pig ,dog and cat : 15mg per kg/bw,
if necessary inject again after 48hours .
WITHDRAWAL TIMES:
Cattle and pig : 28 days.
For milk: 4 days.
STORAGE:
Protect from light and seal tightly. It is recommended to store in a dry place at normal temperature.
Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons .
