10% Gentamycin Sulphate Injection
COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains:
Gentamycin sulphate … 100mg
INDICATIONS:
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by gentamycin sensitive bacteria, like E.coli, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp., in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to gentamycin.
Administration to animals with a serious impaired liver and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration with nephrotoxic substances.
ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
Administer by deep intra-muscular injection. Treatment should not exceed 4-5 consecutive days, unless otherwise directed.
Twice daily 1ml.per 20-40 kg of body weight for 3 days.
WITHDRAWAL TIME:
-for kidneys: 45 days
-For meat: 7 days
-For milk: 3 days
PRECAUTIONS:
1. Store at a temperature below 25¡æ.
2. Protect from light.
3. Keep out of reach of children.
4. For veterinary use only.
