COMPOSITIONS:
Ivermectin 10mg per ml.
INTRODUCTION:
Ivermectin is the breakthrough injectable parasticide for cattle,sheep and camels.It effectively controls internal and external parasites that impair livestock health and productivity. INDICATIONS:
Ivermectin injection is indicated for the effective treatment and control of parasites:
in cattle:
Gastrointestinal Roundworms: Ostertagia ostertagi(adults and immatures)inclding inhibited,Iyrata (adults and immatures).Haemonchus placei(adults and immatures), Trichostrongylus axei(adults and immatures).T.colubriformis(adults and immatures).Cooperis oncophora(adults and immatures),C.punctata Oesophagostomum radiatum(adults and immatures),Nematodirus helvetianus (adults),N.spathinger(adults),Strongyloides papi Ilosus(adults),Bunostomum phlebotomum(adults and immatures),Toxocara vitulorum(adults).
in sheep:

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
Subcutaneous injection.
Cattle/Camels: 1ml per 50kg Body Weight.
Sheep/Goat: 0.5ml/25kg Body Weight.
Pigs/rabbits:0.3ml/10kg Body Weight.
When to Treat Cattle with Grubs
Ivermectin injection is highly effective against all stages of cattle grubs.However,proper timing of treatment is important.For most effective results, cattle should be treated as soon as possible after the end of the heel flv hvpoderma larvae(cattle grubs)at the period when these grubs are in vital areas may cause undesirable host-parasite reactions.Killing hypp dema lineatum when it is the exophageal tissues may cause bloat;killing H,bovis when it is in the vertebral canal may cause staggering or paralysis, Cattle should be treated either before or after these stages of grub development.Cattle treated with ivermectin after the end of the fly season may be treated with ivermectin during the winter for internal parasites,manage mites or lice,planned parasite control program, consult your veterinarian.
Environmental Safety
Studies indicate that when ivermectin comes in contact with the soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time. Drug containers and any residual contents should be disposed of safely (eg,by burying or incinerating)as free ivermectin may adversely,affect fish and certain water-borne organisms.
Note to User
Transitory discomfort has been observed in some livestock following subcutaneous administration.A low incidence of soft tissue swelling at the injection side has been observed,activity suggesting pain, sometimes intense but usually transient,has been observed in some sheep.These reactions disappeared without treatment.
Withdrawal Period :
Cattle&Sheep must not be treated within 21 days of slaughter,Camel must not be treated within 28 days of slaughter.
Storage: Protect from light and seal tightly.It is recommended to store in a dry place at normal temperature.
